Beaded Metal Cylinder Reel (BMCR)

This type of plastic reel or spool is made with 2 plastic flanges and a metal cylinder barrel.

The metal cylinders are available in diameters of 50mm, 70mm, 76mm and 96mm and in standard lengths of 50mm, 75mm, 100mm and 150mm.

The plastic flanges are 3mm or 4mm thick as standard with diameters ranging from 150mm to 350mm

This type of reel or spool is generally used for thin gauge wiring cables but can also be used for other lightweight products such as wire, rope, string, thin plastic or rubber tubing and even fabrics.

The plastic BMCR can be supplied assembled or in kit form.
